Give every team its own backoffice, on the same records

Ops, compliance, outsourced teams: each gets the pages, workflows and actions it needs, sees only its rows, and starts from a copy of another team's setup.

TL;DR

Each team gets its own interface on the same records: pages, workflows, inbox, dashboards and actions.

Scopes limit each team to its own rows, for internal teams, outsourced teams and AI agents alike.

Build a team's setup once and copy it to the next team, in the Forest UI or from the CLI.

One dataset, an interface shaped for each team

One dataset, an interface shaped for each team

Each team works from pages built for its job, on the same live records. Your team builds them in a drag-and-drop editor, without code.

Pages built for the job

Drag a collection, its fields and its actions onto a page. Operators click a row and act on it without opening another screen.

Related data side by side

Show a customer, their accounts and their open cases on one page. Every component updates when an operator selects a record.

Its own workflows, inbox and dashboards

Each team gets its own workflows, inbox, dashboards, visible actions and record views, set in its layout.

Only the rows it should see

Combine teams with scopes, and each team sees only its records, such as one country or one product line.

Copy a setup to the next team

Start a new team from another team's layout, or copy a single page to another team. No rebuilding from scratch.

Outsourced teams and AI agents too

An outsourced team gets its own interface and scope. A service account belongs to teams too, so an AI agent sees what its team sees.

Built for growing ops teams

More teams, one backoffice, one set of rules

More teams, one backoffice, one set of rules

Focused, not generic

Operators see what their task needs, not every collection in the database. The right data and the right action, on one page.

Same records underneath

Every team works the same live data, under the same roles and the same activity log. Only the interface changes.

Set up once, reuse everywhere

Copy layouts between teams in the Forest UI, or from the terminal with the Forest CLI.

What is a team in Forest?

A group of users with its own layout: pages, workflows, inbox, dashboards, visible actions and record views. Users and service accounts can belong to one or more teams.

How do I build a page for my team?

Add a page, drag a collection and choose its segment, add the fields to display, then the actions operators need next to the data. Most pages need no code.

Can each team see different records?

Yes. Combine teams with scopes so users see only the rows tied to their team, for example one country or one product line.

How do I set up a new team quickly?

Create it from another team's layout, or copy one page from team to team. Engineers can also copy layouts with the Forest CLI.

Can outsourced teams work in Forest?

Yes. Give them their own team, layout and scope, under a role that limits what they can do. Their activity is logged like any operator's.

How do you ensure customer data never leaves our environment?

The Forest back-end runs inside your infrastructure, alongside your databases. Customer data travels to a provider only at the point where its service is called, and the response is logged back to the case. Data stays in your systems of record.
